Junior Academy HomepageJunior Academy Parent and Family Engagement
The Junior Academy is comprised of sixth through eighth graders. Our objectives center on independence, inquiry and research. We want these students to be able to compete with any other student in the city when they leave us and head for the ninth grade. The McGraw-Hill curriculum is used with all Junior Academy students in reading, language arts, math, science and social studies. Students will also receive physical education, art, technology and music education weekly through the Integrated Arts program. Each student has an Apple iMac laptop. There will be various opportunities for parents to get involved and help us with events throughout the year.
